About me
I am a BACP Accredited Psychotherapist and Counsellor offering psychotherapy, counselling and psychotherapeutic coaching.
My work is grounded in the therapeutic relationship.
I believe good therapy begins with trust, safety and a genuine working connection between therapist and client.
My approach is calm, thoughtful and collaborative. I offer space to explore what is happening for you at a pace that feels manageable, with attention to confidentiality, respect and what feels useful at this stage of your life.
People come to therapy for many different reasons.
This may include anxiety, stress, low mood, grief, relationship difficulties, anger, self-esteem, life changes, emotional overwhelm or a sense of feeling stuck.
Whatever brings you, the work begins with understanding your experience rather than rushing to label it or force a solution.
How I work
I am interested in how people come to understand themselves, their relationships and the patterns that shape their lives.
This may include exploring past experiences, current pressures, family and relational patterns, identity, behaviour, emotions, values and the ways people have learned to cope.
The work is not about being judged or told what to do. It is a space to slow things down, think carefully and begin to make sense of what may be happening.
Alongside psychotherapy and counselling, I also offer psychotherapeutic coaching.
This brings together deeper psychological understanding with practical reflection, direction and change.

Professional background
My training includes psychology, counselling, coaching and mindfulness-based approaches.
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the Open University, counselling qualifications through CPCAB, coaching qualifications and mindfulness-based cognitive behavioural therapy training.
I am a BACP Accredited Psychotherapist and Counsellor and a British Psychological Society member.
I work within professional and ethical standards, with attention to safety, confidentiality, respect and the needs of each client.

Who I work with
I work with adults, couples and young people, online and in person.
People may come to therapy or coaching because something feels difficult, repeated, unclear or hard to shift.
Others may be looking for space to understand themselves more fully, think about relationships, make decisions or navigate change.
You do not need to have everything worked out before getting in touch.
An initial conversation can help you think about what you are looking for and whether I may be the right person to support you.

Next steps
If you are thinking about therapy, counselling or psychotherapeutic coaching, you are welcome to get in touch.
You can ask any questions you may have, or arrange an initial conversation to think about what kind of support may feel most useful.
You do not need to know exactly which route is right before making contact.
