Youth Courses and Workshops
Structured courses and workshops for schools, colleges and organisations supporting boys and young men.
Charles Flint Therapies offers reflective, age-appropriate work around emotional wellbeing, identity, relationships, healthy masculinity, online influence, confidence and help-seeking.
The work is designed to be positive, balanced and non-shaming. Sessions can be adapted to the needs of the group, setting and age range.
Who is this for?
These courses and workshops are designed for schools, colleges, youth organisations and other settings supporting boys and young men.
They may be useful where there are concerns about confidence, emotional wellbeing, relationships, behaviour, online influence, peer pressure, identity or help-seeking.
The work can be adapted for different age groups, settings and levels of need.

What the work can cover
Courses and workshops can be shaped around the needs of the group, but may include:
Emotional wellbeing and self-understanding
Healthy masculinity and identity
Confidence, self-esteem and belonging
Friendships, relationships and respect
Online influence, social media and comparison
Anger, shame and emotional regulation
Help-seeking and support networks
The aim is to create space for reflection, discussion and learning in a way that feels age-appropriate, respectful and non-shaming.

Masculinity in the Modern Age
This structured course and workshop programme supports boys and young men to think about identity, pressure, emotions, relationships, online influence and healthy masculinity in a positive and non-shaming way.

The aim is not to tell boys and young men who they should be, but to create space for reflection, discussion and practical learning.
The course can help young people build confidence, emotional awareness, respect and safer ways of managing pressure.
It can be adapted for different age groups, settings and formats.

Workshops for schools and colleges
Alongside structured courses, Charles Flint Therapies can provide shorter workshops for schools, colleges and youth settings.
Workshops can be shaped around the needs of the group.
They may focus on emotional wellbeing, confidence, healthy masculinity, relationships, online influence, peer pressure, anger, shame, respect or help-seeking.
They are designed to be reflective, practical and age-appropriate, with space for discussion rather than lecture-style teaching.
Sessions can be adapted for different year groups, settings and levels of need.

How sessions are delivered
Courses and workshops can be delivered in different formats depending on the setting, age group and aims of the work.
This may include one-off workshops, short programmes, small group sessions, assemblies, classroom-based sessions or adapted input for specific groups.
Sessions can be discussed and shaped with the school, college or organisation before anything is agreed.
The aim is to make the work useful, appropriate and manageable for the setting.

Safeguarding and suitability
Courses and workshops are designed to be reflective, age-appropriate and professionally held.
The work is not intended to replace safeguarding procedures, pastoral support or specialist mental health services.
If concerns about safety, risk or safeguarding arise, these should always be managed through the appropriate policies and professional responsibilities of the setting.
Before delivery, the aims, age group, context and suitability of the work can be discussed with the school, college or organisation.
Next Steps
If you are interested in a youth course, workshop or adapted session, you are welcome to get in touch.
It can be helpful to include the setting, age group, approximate group size and the kind of support you are looking for.
We can then discuss what may be suitable, whether a course or workshop format would be most appropriate, and any practical considerations around delivery.
